SEM includes seven university offices — together, these units make up the SEM Division and provide the support and resources necessary to ensure long-term enrollment success at Cal Poly.
Admissions
The Office of Admissions seeks to identify, recruit, admit and enroll an incoming class that maintains and expands on the Learn by Doing philosophy that sets Cal Poly apart.
Financial Aid
The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office is dedicated to helping students secure the resources to fund their education.
Registrar
The Office of the Registrar facilitates students’ transition to Cal Poly and partners with academic programs to establish class schedules.
Institutional Effectiveness
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness leverages data and experience of academic and campus operations to lead efforts dedicated to ensuring Cal Poly remains the premier comprehensive polytechnic university.
Data Management
The Office of Data Management oversees and analyzes data from admissions, matriculation, scholarships, recruitment, and retention to improve everything from applications to students' academic offerings.
Institutional Research
The Office for Institutional Research provides reliable baseline data that guides Cal Poly decision making and supports campus planning, assessment, program review and accreditation.
Document Image Process Center (DIPC)
The DIPC provides secure universitywide document management, production workflows, archival processes and view access for official Cal Poly students' records.
